My NHS Work

I am a Consultant Neurologist working at North Bristol NHS Trust (Bristol NHS Group). In this role, I work with both the stroke and neurology departments. My work involves managing inpatients and outpatients with a broad range neurological disease.

I recently led on, and helped develop our secondary care service for advanced treatments in migraine (Botox and calcitonin gene-related peptide [CGRP] treatments). In this role, I reduced waits for eligible patients to access advanced migraine treatments, I developed both internal and external referral pathways and I championed a widening of patient access to advanced migraine preventative treatments. Through this work, in May 2026, the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire area (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board’s formulary group approved wider access to atogepant and rimegepant as migraine preventatives which can now be initiated by General Practitioners.

Aligned with my unique interests and experience, I also have an interest in seeing patients with dizziness and balance problems (vestibular disorders).
