My Medicolegal Work
I am a substantive NHS Consultant Neurologist and Stroke Physician in Bristol, with an academic background spanning an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship, a PhD at Imperial College London and a Guarantors of Brain post-doctoral fellowship on cerebral small vessel disease and balance (see my About me and CV pages for further detail). My clinical practice covers general neurology, hyperacute stroke and TIA care, and expert assessment of patients with dizziness and balance problems (vestibular neurology).
I apply my clinical experience and research expertise in my medicolegal reports, focusing on well-reasoned, evidence-based arguments centred on my overriding duty to the court.
My work to date has focused on clinical negligence, but I am open to instructions in both clinical negligence and personal injury claims. I have attended formal expert witness training, and I keep up to date through my work with expert witness chambers, educational talks, and medicolegal courses.

Appointments
I am available to see Claimants at Spire Bristol Hospital. I have regular clinics at Spire Bristol Hospital on Thursday evenings, and Fridays. Following instruction, Claimant bookings are managed via my private medical secretary (Ms. Alberta Ken-Tsidzi | Telephone: 0117 233 2830, Email: neurology@ibitoyemedical.co.uk)
I can also travel to see clients, where appropriate. Remote assessments will be considered only where appropriate to the scope of the report.
